PART III: Fotobabbles IN THE CLASSROOM
Students can use fotobabbles to attach their thoughts to a single image. Whether this tool is used to relate a short story or inform a listener about a topic related to a visual, students will have to use creative thinking to put together images and words.
PART IV: HOW TO GET STARTED
INTERNET ACCESSIn order to create a fotobabble, you must have internet access. If your school does not have a 1:1 technology initiative for students, allow your students to bring their own devices so that they can access the internet.
FOTOBABBLE & Email ACCOUNTBoth the teacher and student must create a FREE Fotobabble account
purposePrior to assigning your students to create a talking photo, you must first decide what you would like your students to accomplish with the creation of a fotobabble. Questions such as: Will students create a fotobabble as a way to introduce themselves to the class? Will they use it to share their favorite memory, hobby, sport, season, etc.? Will they create a fotobabble to portray a famous historical figure? By answering these questions and more, you will put meaning into the assignment, therefore benefiting the students on a greater level. Fotobabbles are simple to create, but it is the meaning behind the finished product that must inspire students to be creative and give their best effort.
FAMILIARIZE YOURSELFSpend some time creating different fotobabbles based on different topics and themes. By creating several fotobabbles, your students will gain a better understanding of how the fotobabble site can be used to create talking photos for several topics and ideas.

PART V: MY THOUGHTS ON fotobabbles
I like fotobabbles because of the simplicity behind the concept. Fotobabbles are quick to implement into the classroom, as long as you have access to the internet and a way to record your voice. With the Fotobabble mobile app, students can easily create their talking photo by uploading an image from their phone or device from any wireless location.
Simply put, fotobabbles are easy to create and share, but, most of all, they're fun to make!
